TRIA Group Inaugurates New Factory to Produce Precision Hydraulic Components
PUNE, INDIA: October 15, 2010
TRIA Group announces the launch of a new factory in Pirungut, near Pune, India, which will produce over 100,000 precision hydraulic caps and special fittings per month.
New factory inauguration with Mr. Jason McDannold, Director of TRIA Group.Specializing in high pressure and precision applications, this new facility will produce a line of niche hydraulic components for global OEMs within and outside of India.
The new facility will include an array of industry-leading Mazak CNC machines, imported from Japan, as well as other CNCs. Equally strong is the quality testing facility within the plant.
"We wanted to respond to our customers' demands for extremely precise production and testing, given the unique high pressure applications of our products," states Jason McDannold, TRIA Group's American Director. "Thus, we invested in cutting edge Japanese machinery and testing equipment, such as Mitatoyo internal coordinate measuring machines (CMM), which provide us .0001 micron accuracy—a degree of accuracy which is unique in India."
The new plant employs 35 people, with Mr. Ravindra Jadhav appointed as Plant Manager, and resides in 2 acres of land for future expansion in Pirungut, Pune, India. Two twelve-hour shifts ensure peak production throughout the month.
