Grey Cast Iron
The properties of TRIA Group’s cast iron products depend on the distribution, size and amount of graphite flakes, and the matrix structure, based on our customer requirements. These factors are in turn, are influenced mainly by the manufacturing conditions, chemical composition, solidification time and rate of cooling in the mould.
TRIA Group’s grey cast iron products exhibit low to moderate strength, low modulus of elasticity, low notch sensitivity, high thermal conductivity, moderate resistance of thermal stock, and outstanding castability. Our products correspond to standard “Form I” of IS 7754.
